

Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of secure content management solutions and POS Malaysia have joined forces to promote the 1Malaysia Concept conceived by the Prime Minister by making limited edition collectable 1Malaysia stamps available to Malaysians while educating them on internet security and the investment potential of limited edition stamps. .
The launch of the collectable stamps and its availability with the purchase of Kaspersky Lab products will be announced in conjunction with the first day of the final PIKOM PC Fair of 2009 that kicks off at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Friday, 4th December 2009.
The stamps in three designs &ndash One Malaysia, Unity and People First &ndash were issued on National Day 2009 to commemorate the 1 Malaysia Concept.
The Kaspersky 1Malaysia collectable stamps in a custom designed stamp holder features international superstar Jackie Chan who is Kaspersky Labs ambassador on the cover, with information on the 1 Malaysia Concept inside and will be available solely to Kaspersky customers. The collectables consist of all five 1 Malaysia stamps design in a booklet, with a stamp value of RM5.50 and are expected to appreciate over time due to its rarity.

Kaspersky Lab and POS Malaysia developed this novel approach of assisting the government&ampampamprsquos efforts while kindling interest in stamp collecting, among the younger techsavvy generation, following the visit of Kaspersky Lab&ampampamprsquos founder Eugene Kaspersky in October.
Kaspersky Lab Asia Pacific Managing Director, Mr. Harry Cheung emphasized that the joint effort with POS Malaysia was aimed at delivering more value to Kaspersky Lab users through a gift that would appreciate over time at many levels.
Stamp collectors and those looking to own these collectable stamps can only get them by buying selected Kaspersky products.
According to POSNIAGA Chief Operating Officer Dato&rsquo Mearia Hamzah, Kaspersky Lab is among the first companies to partner with the organization in this way.
The collectable series will be made available to the first 50 Kaspersky Lab customers at each of the PIKOM PC Fair held nationwide during the month of December 2009, and will also be offered as prizes at the Kuala Lumpur leg of the information technology fair. Thereafter the collectables stamps will be available nationwide until January 2010 only.
