Kaspersky Lab joins forces with POS Malaysia

January, 2010 Its an interesting partnership, but happen it did. Kaspersky Lab have joined forces with POS Malaysia to promotethe 1Malaysia Concept by making limited edition collectable 1Malaysia Stamps forMalaysians, in the process educating them on Internet security and investment potential of limited edition stamps.

The stamps come in three designs "One Malaysia", "Unity" and "People First", to commemorate the 1Malaysia concept. It will only be available to Kaspersky Lab customers. Kaspersky and POS Malaysia conceived this approach in effort to rekindle interest in stamp collecting among the younger generation, following founder Eugene Kasperskys visit in October last year.

"Wider Internet usage sees fewer personal letters and greeting cards sent compared to in years past due to the increase in emails and online greetings, which has resulted in less interest in stamps and stamps collecting," said Mr. Harry Cheung, Managing Director ofKaspersky Lab Asia Pacific.

"The Kaspersky 1Malaysia collectable stamps are therefore a good reminder of the importance of postal services in the Internet age, and should also remind Internet users to protect themselves from possible security threats." Chip Malaysia
