Hi all!
I just bought a KIS license for 3 users. If I want to re-format one of my computer, can I re-use the license which I have activated before I re-format?
How does Kaspersky knows that I am actually re-using the license and actually not activating it on another computer?
Thanks in advance.

Hi there,
Yes you can. All you need to do is make sure that it is not running more than 3 computers with the license! You can reinstall it without problems.
Please remember to save the activation code or key file before formatting.

Hi admin. I have bought the Internet Security 2010 3 user license & have actually installed it in one PC till now. I have recently formatted that particular pc and now I wanna install it back. What I want to know is will you guys mistakenly identify it as the second computer. Does this actually mean that I have use up 2 out of 3 user license that I have?
Pls Help

Hi Stabilo,
Pertaining to your situation, you have only use 1 license out of 3 that you have. Kaspersky does not identify the number of user based on the activation times, but rather they identify based on the number of computers it is installed in.
What this means is that, so long as you are only using it in one computer regardless of the number of times you have reinstall the Internet Security, it would still be counted as 1 user.
Hope you are clear now.
Cheers.
